My Son, Raghav
blessings,
You are too young, my son, it is your first years after your birth. It is your world. Your eyes are too small to see this world. Your eyes are however seeing this world in a different perspective. Your eyes are twinkling. You look at things that are talking to you. You see things moving and talk to them in your language. You often burp and furrs to your mom. You often catch her chicks trying to grab them with your tiny palms.
I often think about what you have been thinking or dreaming all the time. Whether, you have any memories of your past life? Whatever your eyes are smiling, I can say that you are happy with us.
It was not long ago when your mother gave me the good news of your coming. It seems that time is flying. Your mom was very cautious when you were in her belly. You were also the reason for our first fight. We argued about what your name should be. We love Bhagwan Ram so it is decided to name you as RAGHAV. No, This name is not forced upon you. It is just our desire to see you as the most perfect human ever lived. We will discuss the legacy of Ram in your teenage years.
Raghav, you are so small that you are not able to see in my eyes. There is a hope in my eyes. Actually you are my hope. I always consider you to evolve as a great individual. I know it is a bit conventional or orthodox for a father to be expected from a small child like you. It also looks selfish that you have not even started seeing the world from an individual perspective.
I know when you will be able to read this letter, you may not be happy with yourself or you may not have achieved the worldly things as per your own perception but believe my son, life is not all about achieving the material milestones. This is the age of learning. You are learning. You are trying to crawl. You are forcing yourself to express from your voices. Your first and foremost desire is to fill your tummy. Your mother takes huge pride while feeding you. You are very fortunate that your mother is still very happy even after toiling very hard the whole day. She often chides me but never scolds you. She is never fed up with you. She washes you, cleanse you after you do potty or pee. You should thank her later for all this.
She has endured a lot of pain and trauma during your days in her belly. She is a working woman and she just cut herself off from her job. Now, you are her dream. She has waited so long to take you in her hand. She cuddles you, swings you in her arms. You are her ultimate happiness. You have just fulfilled our everlasting dream. May Sri Ram give you all the glory and greatness.
Love you my son. CHIRANJEEVI RAHO.
